It almost goes without saying that we can’t just ignore negative thoughts when they pop into our head. But this doesn’t mean we have to let them control our lives or ruin our day or keep us from living a happy life. In fact, if you want a happier mind, it helps to learn how to deal with negative thoughts effectively because all of us have them.
So, whenever you notice negative thoughts creeping into your head and ruining your day, take a step back and ask yourself: “What’s going on here?” “Why am I thinking this?” “What am I afraid of?”.
This will help you develop a new perspective and lighten the mood.
