One of the best things you can do for yourself is exercise. In any way, shape or form just get your body moving!
Whether it be a walk everyday, lifting weights, yoga, or aerobics, this is something you should carve out time for and do just for you.
Not only will you look better visually but you will feel better physically. Exercise is a confidence booster with many benefits. A few are:
Building self esteem.
Positive distraction from worry or guilt.
Improved sex life.
Better sleeping habits.
Exercise may also help improve neurochemical functioning in the following ways:
* Improved metabolism
* Increases in serotonin in the brain
* Increases in beta-endorphins, especially in people who are not physically fit.
* Increases in corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH)
Exercise is something you can do just for you but the benefits not only help you but those around you as well. Take this time for yourself to get stronger both physically and mentally.
